Kosta Boda Mirage 8 Vase
The Mirage series, designed by Goran Wärff, comprises a range of decorative objects for meditation, including a vase. The soft, round shapes of the pieces reflect a spectrum of warm colors. Masterfully crafted in Kosta, Sweden, the Mirage series utilizes an angled pipe technique to create the curved forms, and a zoom technique is employed to achieve the different color variations. After the cooling process, the Mirage pieces are meticulously finished by skilled, experienced grinders, resulting in the final product.
"Light, my constant inspiration!" says the designer. "From a special vantage point, you can experience in the Mirage series what happens in my previous series, Saraband. Seeing what isn't there, a phantom Mirage. On hot days at sea, the phenomenon manifests when a ship seems to sway over the horizon – a reflection of light, a Mirage."
The Kosta Boda Mirage Forest Green/Blue 8" Vase is a stunning example of this series. Designed by Goran Wärff, the vase measures 8.27 inches by 5.71 inches and is made in Sweden. Hand washing is recommended for this beautiful piece.
